As Vice President of EPC, George Laudenbach brings over 30 years of construction experience to Clean Focus, with the last nine years in the PV solar market. Notable projects in the solar sector include the Masdar Institute of Science & Technology in Abu Dhabi and the first Alamosa, CO power plant. Prior to entering the renewable energy industry, George held executive positions in the commercial and heavy construction industries – managing numerous projects in the Washington D.C. area that included the Smithsonian South Quadrangle African and Oriental Museums complex, several Washington Metro stations, and the mixed-use Washingtonian Center development.
Most recently he served as Vice President of Operations at SPG Solar. Previously, he was Director of EPC, North America for GCL Solar Energy Inc., in San Francisco and Director of Construction for SunEdison in Maryland.
George holds an MBA in International Business from George Washington University and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in New York, Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
